I really appreciated Travis' approach.
“I visited with another lawyer before I came to see Travis Watkins. I got this heavy salesman feeling like I just walked on a car lot. The place we met for the meeting was in like a strip mall. In fact I thought that the girl I was meeting with was a sales rep for this other lawyer (at least had a sense of humor and laughed). Then she told me she was a lawyer. It was all upsale. Like, if you went to see an eye surgeon for Lasik and the doctor gave you all these "great" options for $10k to $15k but if you really want to see, then that will be $18,000! That lawyer was also franchised or part of some conglomerate even though they said they were from Norman. I wanted someone based in Oklahoma City. I really appreciated Travis' approach. Tax problems are pretty emotional but I didn't feel like Travis exploits that. His website is great and he presents everything where you could really do things yourself if you wanted to mess with it yourself. I am not one of those people that does want to do that. His fees are not cheap but he's worth it in the big picture. Also, he's very personable. Again many thanks Travis.”
