90's rapper, Montel Jordan (famous for the "This is how we do it" hook), has a tax lien.  An old tax lien, that is.  He owes $627,000 for tax years 1999-2001.  The IRS filed a lien in 2004, but has renewed it.

TMZ reports that Jordan is currently thumbing his nose at the feds.  Why not?  This debt is as old as the hills.  Remember, the IRS only has 10 years to come after you (from the date of assessment).  That means, the IRS may sleep awhile and get really agressive in year 9.  Also, don't forget there are a plethora of exceptions to the 10 year rule that stop the 10 years from running.

This is not how we do it!
